Terms of Service

These Terms govern access to and use of Cale Boutique's website, booking experience, client features, and authorized staff-management tools.

2. Accounts and Google sign-in

You are responsible for using an account you are authorized to access and for keeping your Google account secure. Basic Google sign-in is used for account authentication. Google Calendar access, where offered, is a separate optional connection intended for authorized staff or administrators.

3. Appointments and walk-ins

Appointments shown in the application are requests or reservations subject to availability, service duration, staff schedules, and salon confirmation rules. Same-day service may be handled through the walk-in process. Cale Boutique may confirm, reject, reschedule, expire, or cancel a booking when reasonably necessary because of availability, incorrect information, safety, operational disruption, or misuse.

4. Prices, services, and promotions

Published prices, durations, inclusions, promotions, and availability may change. The final approved job order or transaction record may control the final amount when additional services, approved add-ons, tips, discounts, or corrections apply.

5. Notifications

If you enable push notifications, Cale Boutique may send appointment confirmations, changes, queue calls, reminders, aftercare notices, and other operational messages. Promotional notifications are subject to separate marketing preferences where provided.

6. Staff and administrative features

Internal tools such as attendance, job orders, POS, inventory, commissions, evidence capture, schedules, and audit logs are restricted to authorized roles. Users must not attempt to access records or actions outside the permissions assigned to them.

7. Camera, location, and evidence

Certain staff workflows may request camera or location permission to support attendance, service evidence, or other operational controls. Users must not upload or capture unlawful, misleading, or unauthorized material.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to interfere with the application, bypass access controls, impersonate another person, abuse booking or queue functions, probe for vulnerabilities without authorization, submit malicious code, or use the service for unlawful activity.

9. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, maintain, or discontinue features when necessary. We try to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, especially during maintenance, provider outages, network failures, or events beyond reasonable control.

10. Third-party services

The application may rely on third-party platforms such as Google, Supabase, Cloudflare, mapping services, and browser notification services. Their availability and terms may affect particular features.

11. Records and corrections

Operational records may be corrected through auditable workflows rather than silent deletion. Where required for accounting, dispute handling, security, or compliance, certain records may be retained after an account or feature is no longer active.

12. Disclaimer and limitation

The application is an operational tool and does not replace professional medical, legal, or financial advice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Cale Boutique is not liable for indirect or consequential loss caused solely by outages, third-party platform failures, unauthorized account use, or inaccurate information supplied by a user.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without limiting any consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms when services or legal requirements change. Continued use after updated Terms are published constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
