- Seller/provider information: seller name, profile details, store category, listings, service details, rental details, calendars, approval status, media, and public seller profile information.
- Messages: buyer-seller chat messages, timestamps, conversation records, and message status.
- Media: uploaded listing photos, thumbnails, videos, profile images, and related metadata needed to display listings.
- Reviews: ratings, review text, verified purchase or booking status, and review timestamps.
- Device and usage data: browser type, device type, pages viewed, interaction logs, local storage/session data, and error information needed for security, performance, and support.
2. How We Use Information
- To operate the online marketplace, cart, checkout, seller profiles, booking, rental, and messaging features.
- To authenticate customers through Google sign-in and keep sessions secure.

3. Google Sign-In
When you choose “Continue with Google,” Google may share basic profile information needed to sign you in, such as your name, email, and account identifier. Google’s own services are governed by Google’s Privacy Policy. Cale Boutique does not receive your Google password.
4. Chat and Messages
Buyer-seller chat is part of the marketplace experience. Messages may be stored so customers and sellers can continue conversations, check order details, handle bookings, and resolve support concerns. Avoid sending sensitive information that is not needed for the transaction.
5. Bookings, Rentals, and Calendar Availability
Service and rental bookings may require date, time, customer contact details, notes, payment or reservation status, and provider information. For service providers that connect Google Calendar, calendar availability may be checked to avoid double-booking. Unpaid or tentative bookings may not be written to a provider’s Google Calendar until confirmed according to the marketplace flow.
6. Notifications
The website may show in-app notifications for messages, followed seller updates, listing changes, bookings, and reminders. If browser push notifications are added later, you will need to allow them in your browser or device settings. You may disable browser notifications through your browser settings.

We keep information for as long as needed to operate the marketplace, provide support, keep transaction records, maintain seller/customer history, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and improve the website. Some information may be deleted, anonymized, or archived when no longer needed.

- You may choose not to sign in, but some features such as checkout, chat, reviews, saved cart, and booking management may require Google login.
- You may request help updating account or profile details.
